Mini Review: Arbonne Skincare

A few weeks ago I was in touch with Maimie Yelland via Twitter, and she was kind enough to offer me a little sample of Arbonne skincare. Now, I won't lie - I've never heard of Arbonne before, but after a quick Google search I was curious.

Products looked lovely and luxurious, and the reviews I saw were nothing but nice. Maimie asked me a few questions about my skin, so we could choose the best products for me. At the time, my skin was quite dehydrated but oily, so we decided to go with two products from the FC5 range - an Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF20 and a Purifying Cleanser & Toner.

The lotion claims to "help absorb oil and provides sun protection, leaving skin with a fresh, matte appearance" - and, though I did like it, I didn't feel like it gave me a matte enough finish, considering I tried it out on a day when I wasn't wearing any make up (coz I when I do, I'm all about that highlight). I did however really like the cleanser, sadly I only got two uses out of it - which would probably be my only negative here, I can't give a very good opinion as the samples I had were so small I wasn't able to use them enough to see if they truly lived up to their claims.

Arbonne is currently hosting several blogger events, and with one potentially happening here in Norwich on the 6th of August, I am excited. Despite only using a little of these two products, I'd like to try out more of the brand, because as I've said, I have heard good things about it.

Have you tried anything from Arbonne yourself? What did you think?
